Where Do We Stand?

It has been 15 years since the terrible events of 9/11 and it is now a good time to look back at what the 9/11 movement did achieve, but also at where it failed. The biggest and most obvious failure was, of course, the failure to prevent the bloodbath the Empire calls the “GWOT” (Global War on Terror) and all the other wars which the GWOT, in turn, generated in Northern Africa, the Middle-East and elsewhere. Yes, at that we did fail, but I am not quite sure that the blame for it can be put on the 9/11 Truth movement. Let me explain.

The intelligence process is sometimes described by the “three As”: acquisition, analysis and acceptance. If we compare the 9/11 Truth movement with an intelligence agency working on behalf of the people of our planet, then I would argue that we brilliantly succeeded in the first “A”: acquisition.

Acquisition:

We now have made public many Gigabytes of video, audio, texts, radar, seismic and other materials recorded on 9/11 – more than enough to establish at the very least a “probable cause” to demand a new, independent and legally empowered investigation of the events of 9/11. From the dust of the WTC buildings in DC to the exact radar track of AA77, UA175 and AA11 – the 9/11 Truth movement has collected an enormous amount of forensic data which is now publicly available for analysis.

Analysis:

On the analysis aspect, after a rather long series of false starts, due mainly to the enthusiastic efforts of well-intentioned but technically incompetent volunteer researchers, the 9/11 Truth movement eventually began to recruit an impressive array of scientists, engineers, architects, pilots, military officials, etc. And the result of their work has been nothing short of formidable. At lot of that (peer-reviewed) analysis is now available on the website of the Journal of 9/11 Studies (http://www.journalof911studies.com/) and has even resulted in an impressive “consensus findings list” (http://www.consensus911.org/the-911-consensus-points/) which is also publicly available. A good example of this kind of rigorous scientific analysis can be found in the paper “Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe” published by the The Open Chemical Physics Journal in 2009:

 If much of the acquisition was initially done by amateurs, and if some, but not all of the analysis, was also done by amateurs (including brilliant ones, like physics teacher David Chandler who single-handedly forced NIST to admit to free-fall acceleration for 2.25 seconds – see below), most of the analysis by now has been done by top level academics and scientists who have had such a devastating effect on the official conspiracy theory (that is what the official narrative about 9/11 should be called, a “conspiracy theory” since it centers on an al-Qaeda conspiracy to attack the USA) that the US government has basically had to give-up on defending it (more about that further below).

Acceptance:

Most intelligence analysts would agree that acceptance, be it by a government or by a deliberately misinformed public, is often the most difficult one of the three “A’s” of the intelligence process. This is, alas, where the 9/11 Truth movement has mostly failed. And yet, even the hyper-official and super-politically correct Wikipedia has to admit, most people do simply not believe that al-Qaeda did it. The problem is that this general disbelief has had no result whatsoever on the US political landscape. In a way, this makes sense: 9/11 happened in the beginning of a Republican Administration which, in turn, means that it was planned under a Democratic Administration. Not that I believe that there is much of a difference between the Demoblicans and the Republicrats (Pepsi vs Cola, really), but this simply illustrates two basic facts of the US political system:

1) The US “deep state” is not affected by changes in the White House

2) The US “deep state” is equally embedded in both factions of the “1% Party” in power

In a way, the USA is very similar to the bad old Soviet Union: it is ruled by a Nomenklatura, an “Inner Party” to use Orwell’s expression, which keeps the rest of the 99% in a condition that I would describe as semi-serfdom (“semi” because the modern serf can legally leave his place of labor and move to another one). And while the real “deep state” is only a small sub-section of the US Nomenklatura, the entire Nomenklatura is bound to it by a deep sense of class solidarity. This is what primarily explains the collective blindness of quite literally all the US elites about 9/11: just like everybody now knows that Kennedy was not killed by a lone gunman, most people by now suspect that the official 9/11 conspiracy theory is a stupid load of hogwash – but they just don’t see what difference it makes for them and the world they live in. Combine a silent majority and a ruling elite acting in lockstep to deny the obvious, and you have today’s apparent defeat of the 9/11 Truth movement.

In defense of the 9/11 Truth movement, I have to admit that it took me eight years to finally realize what had happened (you can read about how I became a “truther” here). So I am hardly in a position to criticize others for having such difficulties coming to terms with the immense consequences of the “controlled demolition” theory (this is what usually scares people away, the realization that “if 9/11 was an inside job then…”). Another powerful deterrent is the social and professional stigma attached to being a “fringe lunatic” or “conspiracy theorist” (sometimes even “anti-Semite” and “Holocaust denier”) just for daring the question the official fairytale. Of course, the stakes are sky-high: if 9/11 was an inside job, then the US government is not only absolutely illegitimate, it is in fact an occupation government controlled by either foreign elements, or traitors or both. And there are those who will deliberately stick their head in the sand as deep as possible to avoid having to contemplate the mind-blowing consequences of the undeniable fact that the so-called “land of the brave” is run by an occupation government which has reduced the so-called “brave” to a serf-like status and that several thousands of US Americans have been deliberately sacrificed to induce a mindless patriotic hysteria (with Chinese-made flags and all) to make it possible to use the poorest US Americans as cannon fodder in genocidal wars all over the planet. Yes, that is, indeed, a very painful realization: the American Dream is just that – a dream.

There are also two well-known social psychological phenomena at work here: the Asch Conformity Experiment and the Milgram Obedience Experiment. The first one shows that humans tend to see what they think the majority of their fellow-humans see, while the second one shows the power of authority and its ability to make humans act against their best judgment.

Finally, there is also the well-known “where I sit is where I stand” phenomenon at work: any and all those whose livelihood, reputation or personal self-image directly depends on the “respectability” of the system we are living in, including journalists and bloggers”, have a huge interest in rejecting reality and upholding an absurd narrative simply because their own well-being is directly affected by the “system”. In that sense yes, the 9/11 Truth movement is composed of “fringe” elements, of people who have deliberately given up on official “respectability” and being seen as “serious” and who have chosen to say “the Emperor is naked” even if they get sneered at (but rarely debated!) by the millions of volunteer sycophants which form the real power base of the regime in control of Washington, DC.

The big victory: World Trade Center 7′s 2.25 seconds of free-fall acceleration

In spite of it all, the 9/11 Truth movement has had a huge victory: it has basically forced the US government to admit that explosives were used to bring down WTC7! Okay, not quite in these terms. But by direct implication, yes. I will not repeat the entire story here, but I will direct you to these two websites:

To make a long story short, NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, has been forced to admit that for 2.25 seconds WTC7 (which, by the way, was not hit by any aircraft on that day), was collapsing a free-fall acceleration. This is only possible if 8 floors of this huge buildings were removed instantly and symmetrically. And that, my friends, is only doable by the use of carefully placed explosives. Pretty clear, no? Free fall acceleration for approximately 8 stories or 32.0m (105 ft). Free fall acceleration means that there was no resistance encountered while the top of the building when through the space where 8 floors of reinforced concrete stood just seconds before. We are talking about a building with had 58 perimeter columns and 25 core columns. And yet, 8 floors of that somehow disappeared almost instantly. If you read the full report, you will see that NIST does admit this, but never recognizes the implications of this fact. In fact, under a separate section entitled “HYPOTHETICAL BLAST SCENARIOS” NIST specifically excludes any controlled demolition based on the (completely wrong) assumptions that no blasts were heard (they were, of course). But that is just damage control. The moment NIST admitted to those 2.25 seconds of free-fall acceleration the NIST report was dead in the water. The doubleplusgoodthinking media and blogosphere chose to ignore that. Others, of course, did notice.

Finally, Dr. Robert Korol, professor emeritus of civil engineering at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and a fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, has led a team of academic researchers in preparing two peer-reviewed scientific papers on the destruction of World Trade Center Building 7. Both papers were published in the Challenge Journal of Structural Mechanics — the first one in July 2015, the second in February 2016.

At this point, it would be fair to say that the 9/11 Truth movement has proven the “controlled demolition” theory beyond a reasonable doubt. This is important because it makes it possible for the 9/11 Truth movement to now enter a completely different phase of its struggle. Let me explain by making a comparison with a hypothetical murder.

The logical investigative sequence

One of the logical fallacies used by the supporters of the official conspiracy theory against the 9/11 Truth movement is to invert the logical investigative sequence of investigation. They typically say something like this: “it would have been impossible to place a sufficient amount of explosives in the Twin Towers (supporters of the official narrative typically don’t like to mention WTC7) so your theory makes no sense”. In reality, of course, this is not how a crime is investigated.

Imagine you find a completely closed room with the body of a murdered person inside. No cop would ever say, “since nobody could enter the room no murder has happened”. That would be ridiculous. What the detective would say is that a murder has, indeed, taken place, but that at this point the investigation does not understand how it happened. Likewise, the external observations of the collapse of WTC 1, WTC2 and WTC7 clearly show that these buildings were brought down by controlled demolition, and that by itself is sufficient to demand a new investigation. The fact that the 9/11 Truth movement cannot explain every detail of what took place on that day cannot be held against it. Now that we have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that controlled demolitions did bring down these buildings, it would be the task of the new independent investigation to, well, investigate and explain how what we observed happened.

Of course, no such investigation will ever be allowed by the US “deep state”, that is pretty clear. Besides, it is the credibility of the entire US Nomenklatura which would be threatened by such an investigation, because if it became truly and officially known and understood that 9/11 was, indeed, an ‘inside job’ the consequence of that would be nothing short of “regime change” in the USA, a complete collapse of the AngloZionist Empire. So we are not exactly holding our breath.

Even better, some researchers have done a fantastic job investigating the “how” of 9/11. I highly recommend the reading of the detailed research by Kevin Ryan, the whistle-blower from Environmental Health Laboratories Inc., a subsidiary of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., (who fired him for daring to question the official version) “Demolition Access to the WTC Towers” which gives a very credible scenario of how the three buildings could have been prepped with explosives and by whom. I would note that one does not have to agree with every detail of Ryan’s analysis. The importance of his work lies primarily in the fact that it is simply factually not true that the 9/11 Truth movement did not come up with any explanation of how the buildings could have been filled with explosives – it did and that is more than enough to, again, demand an open and legally empowered independent investigation into these events.

Conclusion

I think that the 9/11 Truth movement has been an absolutely fantastic success and that it has achieved every single goal which was achievable in the reality of the AngloZionist Empire. The fact that no real investigation was ever launched or that nobody was ever arrested for the crimes of 9/11 is not the fault of the 9/11 Truth movement but a direct result of the kind of ignorance, passivity and general stupidification which the Empire has successfully imposed on most of its population. Furthermore, while there have been plenty of false-flags since 9/11, none happened inside the USA and none involved thousands of casualties. So while “they” (the US “deep state”) did get away with it, “they” probably did not expect to be so strongly and, I might add, successfully challenged by their own population. Of course, it ain’t over until the fat lady sings, and we might still witness some major false flag inside the USA (say a “dirty bomb” as a way to preempt a election’s outcome?), but at least for the past 15 years this did not happen and if it ever happens (I think that it probably will), it will probably not be as brazen and “in your face” as 9/11 was. As for the already deeply suspicious general public, it will be far less likely to simply buy into the official version and display the same level of patriotic hysteria as the first time around.

 I am personally deeply grateful to all those in the 9/11 Truth movement who opened my eyes to what took place 15 years ago: I am awed by the courage, integrity and intelligence of the thousands of people who refused to call an orange an apple:

I did slow down the video, only a little, what I did is notice a time laps in their news reports, the fire started about 45 seconds before the jet hit the first Twin Tower, the news camera was not on the building so when or what ever it was that sparked the explosion and smoke was not seen because the airliner, drew every ones attention to the approaching jet, as cameras turned and eyes, all they seen was the jet hitting the building.

In my last week’s article on secret funding for Azerbaijan’s lobbying in the United States, I referred to the payment made to “an influential oil and gas consultant with close ties to President Aliyev who presents himself as an immigration success story and lives in Dayton Ohio—even as he also lobbies the U.S. government on his homeland’s behalf.”

Jonny Wrate, in his article, “Baku’s Man in America,” on the OCCRP.org website (Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project), provided extensive details of Adil Baguirov’s activities and the large payment he had received from Azeri sources to lobby on behalf of Azerbaijan in the United States.

Wrate reported that Baguirov, “a vocal member of the Azerbaijani diaspora, received the $253,150 transfer just months after a non-profit organization he runs, the Houston-based U.S. Azeris Network, helped host a conference in Baku, Azerbaijan’s capital, that was attended by 10 members of Congress. The junket was widely criticized, and investigated by the House Ethics Committee, for being secretly funded by Azerbaijan’s state oil company… The precise origins of the money Baguirov received are unknown, hidden behind secretive shell companies. But there is ample evidence that the authoritarian country’s ruling elite is behind it.”

Baguirov, who “also helped organize other US-Azeri conferences in Washington, repeatedly testified before the House [of Representatives] in favor of U.S. military aid to Azerbaijan, served as the coordinator of the Congressional Azerbaijan Caucus, and worked prominently in a Houston-based company that claims to have organized a trip by the country’s president, Ilham Aliyev, to the White House,” wrote Wrate.

Baguirov and his family have extensive ties with Pres. Ilham Aliyev who awarded him a medal for his services in the U.S. on behalf of Azerbaijan. However, Baguirov had not registered as a lobbyist, as required by U.S. law, under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). When contacted by OCCRP reporters, Baguirov said that the payment he had received was none of their business.

Baguirov moved to the U.S. at the age of 16. He graduated from the University of Southern California in international relations and business administration. Subsequently, he received a Ph.D. in political science in Moscow. Interestingly, Baguirov “was elected to Dayton’s school board, a position he held until 2017, when he resigned more than a month before the end of his term after local activist David Esrati discovered that he appeared to have lied about his residential address.”

Wrate revealed that Turbillion LLC, a consulting company Baguirov runs, received a payment of $253,150 from Hilux Services, a shell firm that is part of the Azerbaijani Laundromat. Turbillion is registered in Wyoming, “a state popular with those looking to create secretive companies due to its tax-free incentives and provision of anonymity.” Another Wyoming company controlled by Baguirov, which has the same mailing address as Turbillion, is called “Nobel Brothers Pictures LLC,” which is “allegedly producing a Hollywood movie about the history of the Azerbaijani oil industry.”

Six months before Baguirov received the payment of $253,150, his Houston-based non-profit U.S. Azeris Network (USAN) “helped organize a two-day conference in Baku called “US-Azerbaijan Relations: Vision for Future.” Wrate revealed that two other conferences were organized by USAN in Washington.

“The Baku meeting in 2013 was attended by 11 members of [US] Congress, 10 of whom were paid for, and over 30 of their staff — and that, according to a confidential report by the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) obtained by the Washington Post, they were lavished with silk scarves, crystal tea sets and Azerbaijani rugs valued at $2,500 to $10,000,” Wrate reported.

In addition, Baguirov worked for Cong. Curt Weldon (R-Pa.) as Special Advisor on Russia and the former Soviet Union. Weldon lost his seat in 2006 “after the Justice Department investigated him for allegedly steering to his daughter’s lobbying firm almost $1 million in consulting contracts from two Russian companies and a Serbian foundation,” according to Wrate. Weldon founded the Congressional Azerbaijan Caucus in 2004 together with fellow Congressman Solomon Ortiz (D-Tex.) who subsequently worked for Azerbaijan as a lobbyist. Baguirov “served as the Caucus’ coordinator and allegedly traveled with Congressional delegations to the former Soviet Union in 2003 and 2004.”

Furthermore, Wrate revealed that “between 2008 and 2016, Baguirov was also invited almost annually to recommend foreign economic and military aid budgets for Azerbaijan and Armenia to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations and Related Matters. In some years, other representatives of USAN and the Karabakh Foundation—another of Baguirov’s non-profit organizations—also testified.” In his congressional testimonies, Baguirov urged the U.S. Congress to reduce the aid for Armenia to zero, while requesting that Azerbaijan receive $26 million from USAID and $3.9 million in military aid.

Baguirov was also the Executive Vice President of International Affairs for Worldwide Strategic Energy, Inc., a Houston-based company that offered its “strong business and political ties” to help prospective clients capitalize on hydrocarbon development opportunities in “politically complicated countries,” including Azerbaijan.

The U.S. Justice Department should be asked to investigate Baguirov’s unregistered lobbying activities in the U.S. on behalf of Azerbaijan to see if any illegalities have been committed.

The Azerbaijani Laundromat — a set of intertwined bank accounts used as a slush fund by the country’s elite to buy luxury goods, pay off European politicians, and launder money — also included payments to an individual working to influence American policy in the interest of Azerbaijan, an analysis of the data shows.

Overall, some €2.5 billion (US$ 2.9 billion) flowed through the Laundromat between 2012 and 2014. The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and partners first revealed the scheme last September. A portion of the money was used to advance the Azerbaijani government’s political agenda, with some ending up in bank accounts belonging to European politicians who spoke highly of President Ilham Aliyev’s authoritarian regime even as it arrested journalists and opposition activists.

As it turns out, another recipient of Laundromat money — to the tune of a quarter million dollars — was an influential American oil and gas consultant of Azerbaijani origin who worked to influence US policy in his native country’s favor.

Azerbaijani Renaissance

The precise origins of the money Baguirov received are unknown, hidden behind secretive shell companies. But there is ample evidence that the authoritarian country’s ruling elite is behind it.

Baguirov’s Washington lobbying in the interests of Azerbaijan goes far beyond the 2013 conference. He has also helped organize other US-Azeri conferences in Washington, repeatedly testified before the House in favor of US military aid to Azerbaijan, served as the coordinator of the Congressional Azerbaijan Caucus, and worked prominently in a Houston-based company that claims to have organized a trip by the country’s president, Ilham Aliyev, to the White House.

Baguirov and his family run in elite circles back home. They are known to have close ties to President Aliyev – who awarded Baguirov a medal for his efforts in the US – and he and his father serve in numerous advisory roles to the Azerbaijani and Russian governments respectively. Baguirov did all this while holding American, Azerbaijani, and, it also appears, Russian citizenship ​until at least 2005.

His lobbying raises the question of whether he should have registered as a foreign agent, as the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) requires people representing the interests of foreign countries to do. Although the statute is loosely defined and contains a number of exemptions and loopholes, Josh Rosenstein, a lawyer at Sandler Reiff, says “this case raises red flags and raises questions that the Justice Department may be interested in having answered.”

When contacted by OCCRP reporters for comment, Baguirov said the payment he received was none of their business.

90 American Muslims Running For Office In America- TTTG News

In Minnesota, the decision by Keith Ellison, the nation’s first Muslim congressman, to run for state attorney general has set off a political frenzy for his congressional seat that includes two Muslim candidates, both Democrats: Ilhan Omar, the country’s first Somali-American state lawmaker, and Jamal Abdulahi, a Somali-American activist.

SAN DIEGO — Fayaz Nawabi has never met President Trump. But he credits the president with convincing him to run for office.

Nawabi, a 31-year-old candidate for San Diego City Council, supports almost everything that Trump opposes: He is pro-affordable housing, pro-environment, pro-immigrant and pro-refugee. That makes him part of the blue wave of new liberal candidates spurred to run by Trump’s election and policies.

 But Nawabi is also part of a notable subset: the blue Muslim wave.

More than 90 American Muslims, nearly all of them Democrats, are running for public office across the country this year. Many are young and politically inexperienced, and most are long shots. But they represent a collective gamble: that voters are so disgusted by America’s least popular president on record that they’re willing to elect members of America’s least popular religious minority group.

Although their number seems small, the candidacies mark an unprecedented rise for the nation’s diverse Muslim community that typically has been underrepresented in American politics.

There are more than 3.3 million Muslims living in the United States, but Muslim Americans hold just two of the 535 seats in Congress. And the Muslim community’s voter participation pales in comparison to the general public’s.

The rise of Muslim candidates coincides with the growth of the predominantly immigrant population and a partisan shift that has played out over a generation. In a 2001 Zogby poll of American Muslims, 42 percent said they voted for Republican George W. Bush in the previous year’s presidential election, while 31 percent said they voted for Democrat Al Gore. By last year, just 8 percent of voting American Muslims in a Pew poll said they voted for Trump, while 78 percent said they voted for Democrat Hillary Clinton.

While Clinton’s campaign never garnered broad enthusiasm from Muslim communities, Trump’s campaign — which called for the monitoring of mosques and a ban on Muslims entering the United States — delivered a jolt on election night that some American Muslims likened to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

“It woke everyone up,” Nawabi said.

Now, Muslim candidates are running for a wide range of offices across the country, from local school boards to the U.S. Senate. Some are making their Muslim identity central to their campaigns.

“When you put someone in a corner and they’re in survival mode, they have a tendency to come out and speak more prominently about their beliefs,” said Nawabi, who considers himself an “unapologetic Muslim” who can quote the Koran from memory and moonlights as a “freelance imam.”

In Michigan, where 13 Muslim candidates are running for office, physician Abdul El-Sayed is hoping voters will elect him to be the first Muslim governor in the United States and has used his religion in campaign ads against Republican front-runner Bill Schuette, whom Trump has endorsed.

“Donald Trump and Steve Bannon would love to see a right-wing radical like Bill Schuette elected in Michigan,” reads a Facebook ad for El-Sayed, who faces a Democratic primary in August. “You know what would be sweet justice? If we elected a 33-year-old Muslim instead of Bill Schuette. Send a message and help elect the first Muslim governor in America.”

A new generation of leaders

A half a century ago, a small population of black Americans embraced Islam as a pathway to political empowerment and civil rights, and today their descendants are members of the U.S. military, police officers, city council members and career civil servants.

But in the immigrant community, the experience is newer. About two-thirds of American Muslims are immigrants or the children of immigrants, and activists say a cultural fear or mistrust of government can accompany those who have fled authoritarian regimes, hindering participation in the political process.

“A lot of people feel like, ‘I’m just going to make my money, put my head down,’” said Nawabi, whose family arrived in San Diego as refugees from Afghanistan when he was a toddler.

They feel political involvement “puts a target on their backs because that’s what it meant where they came from,” he said.

A small number of Muslim and Arab advocacy groups, such as e the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Emgage (formerly called Emerge USA), and the Arab American Institute have spent years training young political activists, tracking rising politicians and running get-out-the-vote campaigns, particularly in immigrant communities after the 9/11 terrorist attacks set off an anti-Muslim and anti-Arab backlash.

But Trump’s policies have intensified the push for political activism in the diverse community. There was the travel ban, which sought to prohibit entry to people from several Muslim-majority countries, as well as refugees. There were Trump’s calls to monitor mosques and his appointments of Cabinet members and political advisers who have disparaged and mocked Muslims. There were the comments and tweets that cast Islam as inherently dangerous and called Muslim patriotism into question.

Emgage, a nonprofit organization geared toward promoting Muslim political engagement, polled registered Muslim voters after the 2016 presidential election and found that 53 percent felt “less safe.”

“But the response has been increased civic participation,” said Wa’el Alzayat, the organization’s chief executive. “I’m one of the people who, looking at the long-term impact of this, is optimistic.”

A sizable generation of American-born Muslims and Arabs are in their 20s and 30s, their school years shaped by 9/11, and their comfort and familiarity in the American political system far surpassing that of their immigrant parents.

“They’re ready,” said James Zogby, a longtime Democratic operative and president of the Arab American Institute, who has provided funding and mentorship to several candidates. “Both communities separately have reached a level of maturation.”

Nawabi, a self-described “typical millennial” and avid surfer, was never interested in politics until Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) captured his attention during the 2016 presidential race. But it was the day after Trump won the election that Nawabi decided he needed to act.

That morning, he walked into the local Islamic school where he was then teaching, imagining how his students’ parents might be “trying to explain to their kids that there’s a bigot, a racist, in the White House.”

But when he got to the classroom, he realized his second-graders were already thinking about it.

“They were talking about where they were going to move now that Trump was president,” said Nawabi. “That really affected me.”

Before long, he had become an assembly district delegate for the California Democratic Party, a win he attributed to his ability to mobilize 200 Muslim voters. He gave sermons at mosques attended by mostly immigrants about the importance of seeing themselves as part of the American political system, and he launched a Muslim American Democratic Club in San Diego.

“The Republican Party has completely thrown our community under the bus,” he said.

He added his name to the ballot for city council.

A flurry of firsts

The call to action among American Muslims has yielded a diverse array of candidates. They include former Obama administration officials and longtime political activists, but also physicians and lawyers, women’s rights advocates, a molecular biologist and a former Planned Parenthood manager.

The flurry of candidacies makes for a lot of potential “firsts.”

Asif Mahmood, a 56-year-old pulmonologist, would be the first Muslim insurance commissioner in California. Deedra Abboud, 45, in Arizona, or Jesse Sbaih, 42, in Nevada, could be the country’s first Muslim senator.

And any one of four Muslim women — Nadia Hashimi, 40, in Maryland; Sameena Mustafa, 47, in Illinois; or Fayrouz Saad, 34, and Rashida Tlaib, 41, in Michigan — could be the first in Congress.

Muslim political activists and community leaders say they’ve noticed more young Muslims showing up to political events ranging from legislative hearings and school board meetings to women’s marches and civil rights rallies.

“I think you see this invigoration of the younger generation who is like, ‘We need to stand up and share our narratives and share our stories. We can’t stand on the sidelines,’ ” said Abdullah Hammoud, 27, who won election to Michigan’s state legislature in 2016. “There is this fire lit under them. They see their rights being stripped away, day in and day out.”

Several also have dealt with backlash. “Sorry no room for Muslims in our government,” one man wrote last year on Abboud’s campaign Facebook page. Kia Hamadanchy, the 32-year-old son of Iranian immigrants who is running for Congress in Southern California, said he occasionally has to delete online comments, including one that said, “He wants to behead you all.”

Nawabi says a few people have asked him why he has a beard, whether he speaks English and even whether he’s a terrorist.

Still, many Muslim candidates are wearing their religion as a badge of honor.

“As a Muslim immigrant from the great blue state of California, I’m a triple threat to Donald Trump!” Mahmood posted on his campaign website.

“The child of Palestinian immigrants . . . the first female Muslim elected to the Michigan Legislature,” Rashida Tlaib, running for Congress, wrote on hers.

Some candidates and political activists say that even if no Muslim candidate wins a seat this year, the blue Muslim wave still will have accomplished something. The American public will grow more accustomed to seeing Muslim candidates, they say, and Muslim youth will see candidates who look like them or share their values.

Many, they hope, will be inspired.

Under Trump, Zogby said, “Running itself becomes making a statement.”

Are your Facebook posts being shown to your friends and followers — or have you been “shadowbanned” by Snopes for sharing conservative content on the social media platform? Shadowbanning is a new concept in social media and involves banning a user from a platform in such a way that the banned user is unaware of the ban. A shadow-banned user will be able to see their own posts, but other users, including friends and followers, do not get to see them in their news feed.

Thanks to new Facebook rules, conservatives who share news articles that Snopes decide to suppress, or opinion pieces that CEO David Mikkelson considers deplorable, are having their Facebook posts hidden from their friends, family and followers.

Snopes was tapped by Facebook as one of its approved fact-checking groups and given the ability to mark stories on the site as “true” or “false”. While this idea sounds fine in theory, in practice it has had a chilling effect on free speech, while limiting the free expression of conservatives on the internet.

Let’s look at a recent case in point. This past week many conservatives shared a news article written by this author about a double murder in Huntsville, Alabama. Two men were arrested and charged, including a Mexican Sinaloa cartel employee who was later detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Snopes reviewed the article and gave it a “Mixture” rating, presumably meaning they believe some information contained in the article is false.

However after reading the Snopes article “debunking” the news story, it becomes apparent the “fact checking” outlet is not disputing the verified news story, but is engaging in the most egregious case of politically motivated “fact checking” overreach to date.

According to the Snopes “debunk”, there are two reasons they deem the news article about a barbaric crime worthy of suppression on social media:

1. According to David Mikkelson, a Mexican citizen employed by the notorious Sinaloa drug cartel — who has been detained by ICE — may not be an illegal alien
2. Mikkelson also takes issue with the claim there was a “media blackout” concerning the story, citing some minor reports in local news regarding court hearings to claim the case wasn’t being ignored

Are these the real reasons Snopes chose to suppress the real, verified crime story on Facebook? Or is it because the story does not fit the liberal agenda pushed by the Democratic Party and mainstream news outlets?

Many readers believe “fact checkers” do not check facts; rather they serve as damage control tools the Democratic Party establishment and liberal mainstream media. Snopes never fact check mainstream media. CNN regularly publishes unverified, baseless information citing anonymous sources and Snopes routinely grants them a pass.

Whereas an alternative media outlet publishing news of interest to conservatives will be suppressed by Snopes for the thought crime of identifying an ICE detainee as an illegal alien.

This absurd “ruling” by the Snopes’ CEO means conservatives who are concerned about a barbaric crime that was committed by an illegal alien will not be allowed to share the content with their friends and followers. The real, verified information contained in the article has been stopped from reaching the public by Snopes.

Information deemed important enough to be shared by American citizens will now be hidden from their friends, family and followers on Facebook — effectively shadowbanning these users — because David Mikkelson thinks a Mexican Sinaloa cartel employee — who has been detained by ICE — is not necessarily an illegal alien.

It is worth remembering at this point that Snopes are a team of unqualified amateurs who do not hold qualifications as journalists or investigators. CEO David Mikkelson employed his new wife, an L.A. based high class escort, to work for the fact checking site. The rest of the contributors are bloggers with liberal activist backgrounds.

Lead fact checker Kim LaCapria even admits she regularly “fact checks” while stoned. It’s California, it’s legal. That’s not the problem. The problem is that fact checking political news is a serious business, and it should be taken seriously by Snopes – especially now that Facebook have anointed them watchdogs of all of our news feeds with the power to shadowban users.

Facebook should draw the line at using the services of a fact checking company whose senior staff admit they work while stoned. There is too much at stake.

Nowhere is this more obvious than on Facebook.

We see it. The Christian Action Network observes how Facebook’s recent treatment of our “boosted” postings have been purposely degraded to limit their impact.

The “boosting” feature is a product we pay for. It used to be effective and worthwhile. Now, we don’t make such purchases because the results are rigged to fail.

Aside from being a ridiculous business model of contempt for conservative customers, it speaks volumes to what the values of Facebook really are:

They don’t like Bible-believing, (in other words, real) Christians. And a quick look at some of our recent new friends on Facebook supports this conclusion.

Sharing from a Biblical perspective is specifically targeted

We reached out to two other groups to see how Facebook was treating them.

One group is actually a business, W.W. Bridal Boutique. The bridal shop has been suffering from homosexual threats for nearly four years because of their policy to refuse service to same-sex marriages. Another is called Christian Warriors, whose president has been battling an Islamic indoctrination class his daughter has been forced to attend in a West Virginia public school.

Lisa Boucher of W.W. Bridal Boutique in Pennsylvania said her Facebook “views” and “reach” numbers for their posted happenings in recent weeks has fallen from more than a thousand as typical to less than 200.

“I have noticed that the number of people we can reach is being curtailed,” Lisa said. “I think we are being censored.”

While Lisa has not experienced being temporarily banned from Facebook (or in the jargon of social media, placed in Facebook jailed), “We have noticed that we can’t even chose the option of boosting our posts,” she said.

“Recently, for everything I might have wanted to boost, but couldn’t pay for it anyway, they’re not allowing it. They all say ‘boosting unavailable.’”

Worse treatment than that has been how Facebook has been shutting down father and minister Rich Penkoski, who is also president of Christian Warriors. He has reached a point of great frustration with Facebook.

“They just don’t want our views expressed,” he said. “If you need help, there is rarely a human being to talk to. When you finally do break through to someone, they lie. They lie so much.”

Christian Action Network President Martin Mawyer said that social media is a vital communications link for our society and even globally, and the organized left wants to rule over it like they do the mass media.

According to Mawyer, Penkoski has put forth a great effort on his part, but there must be an uprising.

“We can’t just watch one Warrior for Christ out there to see what happens,” Mawyer said. “We have got to get in this so we are noticed – so we can’t be ignored.”

Mawyer said the way to combat Facebook’s suppression of conservative ideas is through a campaign of, “Like, comment and share.”

“Few Facebook users understand how FB distributes stories into a person’s news feed,” Mawyer said. “But if people understood this, users could defeat Facebook’s suppression of conservative ideas.”

“It is an absolutely a fact that Facebook will immediately suppress a posting from a conservative organization,” Mawyer said. Christian Action Network has over 30,000 fans, but its postings will oftentimes only reach a meager 400 of those fans, that’s less than 2 percent of the total fan base.

“That’s called suppression,” Mawyer said.

“But the more people do three things — like, comment and share a posting — that reach will increase to nearly 10,000 people.”

“In other words,” Mawyer said, “Facebook will initially attempt to stop the distribution of a conservative posting when it is placed. But what happens to it after that is basically in the control of Facebook users. The more people “like” an article, share that article or comment on that article, the greater distribution that article will receive.”

“If you want to fight back,” Mawyer said. “The solution is at your fingertips: Like. Comment. And Share.”

CNN Lobbies Facebook To Shut Down YourNewsWire

 CNN has begun lobbying Facebook to shut down YourNewsWire after discovering that our articles regularly outperform those published by mainstream media outlets. According to an article published by the Soros-funded Poynter, YourNewsWire.com poses a “serious threat” to “real journalism” due to the fact that millions of Americans resonate with our unfiltered, no-holds-barred approach to news.

In his Tweet, Darcy links to the Poynter hit-piece in which far-left activist Daniel Funke complains that YourNewsWire.com still has a presence online despite the fact that disreputable “fact-checkers” such as Snopes have worked around the clock to try and debunk anything and everything we publish.

It should be noted that these very same people are also trying to censor and remove Infowars from Facebook too.

Per Infowars:  In an article for CNN, senior media reporter Oliver Darcy explains how he tried to convince Facebook top brass to terminate our Facebook presence.

In his CNN piece, Darcy reveals how he asked the head of Facebook’s News Feed John Hegeman, “How the company could claim it was serious about tackling the problem of misinformation online while simultaneously allowing InfoWars to maintain a page with nearly one million followers on its website.”

Hegeman explained that InfoWars has “not violated something that would result in them being taken down.”

Not satisfied, Darcy asked Facebook product specialist Sara Su why Facebook allowed Infowars to operate a page when it “is notorious for spreading demonstrably false information and conspiracy theories on a host of issues.”

When Darcy asked Facebook for a follow up statement, his third attempt to have Facebook shut down Infowars in a single day, the company admitted that it down-ranked Infowars content in its algorithm.

“We work hard to find the right balance between encouraging free expression and promoting a safe and authentic community, and we believe that down-ranking inauthentic content strikes that balance,” said Facebook spokeswoman Lauren Svensson. “In other words, we allow people to post it as a form of expression, but we’re not going to show it at the top of News Feed.”

Darcy’s article was shared by innumerable other CNN and mainstream media hacks in a coordinated effort to circulate the same narrative.

This underscores once again how CNN is not an impartial news outlet, it is an activist organization using its considerable financial and institutional muscle to shut down a competitor.

Despite the fact that Infowars is far smaller than CNN, its influence and cultural relevance threatens CNN’s entire business model. A lot of President Trump’s base are also concentrated within the Infowars audience.

Earlier this year, CNN launched a sustained campaign to pressure YouTube into shutting down the Alex Jones Channel after the Parkland shooting. The lobbying effort was almost successful, with the channel being one strike away from being permanently suspended, although it ultimately failed.

Googles YouTube also cited a breach of “community guidelines” for the removal of the Alex Jones channel.

It was cut off on Monday afternoon, following an earlier purge of Jones’ content on Facebook, Apple, and Spotify. Some of Jones’ videos had garnered millions of views at the time of their deletion.

Obama: “Fully Support Seizure Of White Farmers’ Land In South Africa”

 Barack Obama has praised the South African government’s recent decision to legalize the seizure of land from white farmers. In a speech delivered at the 2018 Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture in Johannesburg, Obama heaped praise on the South African president for amending the constitution and allowing people to steal land from white farmers without compensation.

During the speech Obama also called for a guaranteed income.

South Africa Amends Constitution To Legalize Violent Seizure Of White Farmers’ Land

 South Africa has begun the process of amending the constitution to allow the violent removal of white farmers from their land.

 

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa says Parliament must initiate the change in law in order to allow the country’s black population to reclaim land currently occupied by whites.

“The ANC will through the parliamentary process finalize the proposed amendment to the constitution that outlines more clearly the conditions under which expropriation of land without compensation can be effected,” Ramaphosa said in a televised address on Tuesday.

Rt.com reports: The millionaire ex-businessman argued that “it has become pertinently clear that our people want the constitution to be more explicit” about the proposal, which is viewed by the South African white minority as forceful expulsion that can incite violence against farmers.

There have been growing fears that the planned expropriation will deal a blow to commercial farming in the country and might put it on the verge of a food production crisis, like the one that struck Zimbabwe when it unleashed a similar crackdown on white farmers in 1999-2000.

Promoting his plan to boost land redistribution in March, Ramaphosa sought to assure white citizens, who constitute roughly nine percent of the total population, that the government would handle the controversial matter through “dialog, discussion, engagement, until we find good solutions that take our country forward.”

“There is no reason for anyone of us to panic and start beating war drums,” he said at the time, noting that nothing should prevent farming activities from continuing as normal.

However, many of the Boers, descendants of Dutch settlers in South Africa, do not take the government’s promises at face value, instead seeking asylum abroad from what they say is a surge in violence and government-fueled hostility against them.

Last month, a call from Australian Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton to provide emergency visas for South Africa’s white farmers, who are reportedly facing persecution at home, sparked a diplomatic scandal, with the head of the South African opposition labeling Australia “a racist country” for granting refuge to white farmers both in the Mandela era and now.

Boers have also appealed to Russia, seeking to resettle farmers who no longer feel at home in South Africa. A delegation consisting of some 30 South African farming families arrived in Russia’s farm belt Stavropol Region last month, asking the local authorities to consider resettling up to 15,000 Boers.

Moving “is a matter of life and death” for them the head of the delegation told the media.

The region’s Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights Vladimir Poluboyarenko told RT earlier there is a plan in place to resettle up to 50 Boer families and potentially some 500, who would arrive to Stavropol with their own cattle.

 

QAnon Follower Foils Trump Assassination Plot

Kate Mazzochetti, a brave follower of QAnon, helped foil an assassination attempt against Donald Trump in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on Thursday.

 On the day of President Trump’s rally in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, Mazzochetti wrote on Twitter, “Well @Potus – Our paths cross at the Rally today This ‘Mystery Woman’ would really like to hug OUR FAVORITE PRESIDENT I’m sure @SecretService would have stopped this guy too but I’m glad I got him off the streets before you arrived.”

 Accompanying the tweet is a photo of a newspaper article detailing the arrest of Jeffrey Boyd, 55, of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is currently being held in Columbia County on a $1 million bond.

After hearing her story, troopers searched for Boyd and found him in the parking lot of a grocery store in Briar Creek. They searched his vehicle and found a loaded gun and extra ammunition.

President Trump was in Pennsylvania to campaign for Rep. Lou Barletta’s campaign for the U.S. Senate. “It’s a scary thought that someone would come from Tulsa to get to this area just to hunt down the president, so those are scary things,” said Bob Reap of Berwick.

According to WNEP, Jeffrey Boyd was arrested in the Briar Creek Township on August 1. The station says that authorities believe Boyd was planning to kill the president and members of the first family because he was “hearing voices.”

WNEP reports that “a woman” went to the state police barracks in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, to warn them about Boyd. The woman, who is not identified, says Boyd showed up at her door on July 30. The pair had been conversing on Twitter prior to this. She says she agreed to meet him for lunch the following day. The pair ate at Hog’s Hollow Saloon, close to Briar Creek. The owner said that Boyd’s behavior was “confused and manic.”

Heavy reports: The woman says that Boyd told her over lunch that the CIA is doing tests on him which caused him to hear voices telling him to do harm. Boyd was arrested later that day in the parking lot of a grocery store. Authorities said they found a gun and ammunition in his car.

The woman who foiled the apparent attack told the Press Enterprise that she was shocked when “Jeff from Tulsa pulled into her driveway.” The woman insisted she had no relationship with Boyd. She said she was further shocked when Boyd showed her a spreadsheet of all of the information he had learned about her. The woman had been careful not reveal her real identity on Twitter.

We are VIGILANT!” According to that page, Mazzochetti operates two other pages, one named “UrWORSTknightMARE,” and another named, “Gypsy Queen.” On the latter profile, Mazzochetti writes in the bio section, “The truth will be revealed. I’m counting the ways. I made a lot of copies. #ShadowBanned #MAGA.”

ISIS On The Rise Again In Iraq by TTTG Networking

President Donald Trump may have been a little premature congratulating himself about defeating ISIS, as the group are reforming and on the rise again in Iraq. It looks like the US president has a new headache in the Middle East. A number of respected journalists and commentators in Iraq are talking about how ISIS is far from destroyed –they say the terrorists are in fact regrouping and on the rise.

After about three years of ISIS controlling almost a third of the country, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared victory in December 2017 against the terrorist group, as well as declaring that the war was over. Analysts though, at the time, warned that many extremists had merely gone underground or had scattered, and would return. These warnings were not taken seriously, but in recent weeks, Western journalists in Iraq are reporting an alarming return to the battlefield, which is going to give Trump a number of sleepless nights, wrangling over a conundrum he alone is unlikely to resolve.

 

According to the Washington Post, the battle has shifted into a central zone of Iraq with ISIS now adopting more nefarious, if not theatrical, tactics, leaving many civilians saying that the declaration of victory was premature.

“Over the past two months, dozens of people, including local government officials, tribal elders, and village chiefs, have been abducted and killed or ransomed by fighters claiming affiliation with the Islamic State,” the paper claimed recently. “Electricity infrastructure and oil pipelines have been blown up. Armed men dressed as security forces and manning fake checkpoints have hijacked trucks and robbed travellers, rendering the main Baghdad-Kirkuk highway unsafe for a period of weeks.”

It’s a horrendous account of Iraq today, with ISIS adapting to new surroundings, and according to the Post, using more and more local people to help with their heinous work. The speed also is worrying some.

“It was inevitable that the Islamic State would attempt a comeback after its crushing defeat,” said Hisham al-Hashimi, an Iraqi counterterrorism expert who advises the government. “They are returning faster than I anticipated. That they have returned this fast is very dangerous.”

Poor governance, lack of public infrastructure and incomprehensible levels of corruption in poor Sunni areas is helping the extremist group with its objectives – not to mention shoddy elections in May, which cast a shadow over Iran’s meddling in the melting pot of Iraqi politics. Indeed, corruption is central to all of its woes.

“It does not take much to manipulate the frustrations of the Iraqi population,” a Reuters journalist who just returned from Iraq says. “They live in a rich country blessed with oil, yet widespread smuggling from Iraq’s northern Kurdistan siphons off money that could go to the central government. In addition, Iraqis who lost their homes in the fight against IS in major Sunni-dominated towns such as Mosul and Tikrit were allowed to return only if they bribed Shi’ite-dominated ministries.”

Such unfettered discontent following an election which some experts have claimed only had a 20 percent turnout, has created a new impetuous for an insurgency against the new establishment – with Moqtada al-Sadr, the populist Shiite cleric at the heart of it – who claims to want to defeat corruption and reduce Iran’s hegemony.

Yet recent suggestions that the US is about to pull out of Iraq could be a disaster for those seeking peace in Iraq, and play straight into the hands of ISIS.

The problem now for Trump is so much more complicated than before, when he took over what was essentially an Obama initiative in Iraq to hit ISIS in the main Sunni towns. Despite a scandalous number of innocent civilians being caught in the crossfire of a cack-handed military campaign and the grotesque war crimes carried out by Iraqi soldiers, he came out of it standing tall.

But things are so much more complicated now, chiefly due to his own idiotic, capricious policy notions in the region. His own stance against Iran for example may now confuse him and his advisers. If he doesn’t come back a second time and hit ISIS, does he leave this for Iranian elite guard fighters to do, as they did in the past? Such a move would be a PR disaster for him, as it’s widely unreported in MSM how Iran has been fighting ISIS itself for years in both Iraq and Syria. But then striking ISIS again could be seen as assisting Iranian-backed contingents within Iraq at a critical point when Sadr is trying to push them to the fringes. And who is to say that Sadr will always be a foe of Iran’s and not a friend one day? Iranian hard liners might even argue the best boost for ISIS in Iraq now would be a new scrap with US forces. Someone get the president a Coke and a lot of aspirin. The mother of all migraines is about to come on.
