The Democrat Party turned it to find a way for Jews and Christians to get along. By sharing a idea for Christians to become Jewish. The current American use of “Judeo-Christian” — to refer to a value system common to Jews and Christians — first appeared in print in a book review by the English writer George Orwell in 1939, with the phrase “the Judaeo-Christian scheme of morals.” Orwell’s usage of the term followed at least a decade of efforts by Jewish and Christian leaders, through such groups as the National Conference of Christians and Jews (founded in 1927), to emphasize common ground. The term continued to gain currency in the 1940s. In part, it was a way of countering antisemitism with the idea that the foundation of morals and law in the United States was a shared one between Jews and Christians.

Franklin D. Roosevelt

The first inaugural address of Franklin D Roosevelt (FDR), in 1933, the famous speech in which FDR declared that “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself”, had numerous religious references, which was widely commented upon at the time. Although it did not use the term “Judeo-Christian”, it has come to be seen by scholars as in tune with the emerging view of a Judeo-Christian tradition. Historian Mary Stuckey emphasizes “Roosevelt’s use of the shared values grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition” as a way to unify the American nation, and justify his own role as its chief policymaker.

In the speech, FDR attacked the bankers and promised a reform in an echo of the gospels: “The money changers have fled from their high seats in the temple of our civilization. We may now restore that temple to the ancient truths. The measure of the restoration lies in the extent to which we apply social values more noble than mere monetary profit.” Houck and Nocasian, examining the flood of responses to the First Inaugural, and commenting on this passage, argue:

The nation’s overwhelmingly Judeo-Christian response to the address thus had both textual and extratextual warrants. For those inclined to see the Divine Hand of Providence at work, Roosevelt’s miraculous escape [from assassination] in Miami was a sign—perhaps The Sign—that God had sent another Washington or Lincoln at the appointed hour….Many others could not resist the subject position that Roosevelt…had cultivated throughout the address—that of savior. After all, it was Christ who had expelled the moneychangers from the Temple….[Many listeners saw] a composite sign that their new president had a godly mandate to lead.

Israel Builds A Wall With US Tax Dollars

US Taxpayers Have “Paid for Israeli Immigration Wall”

American taxpayers have in effect paid for the erection of the now almost completed 150 mile-long “security” wall along Israel’s border with Egypt—designed to stop Africans from entering the Zionist state—a new article in the Examiner has revealed.

The article, written by Dave Gibson, a former legislative aide to a state senator and a widely published journalist, is titled “We can pay for Israel’s border fence but not our own” and says that the Israeli fence had cost $430 million.

The border includes electronic surveillance equipment such as cameras and radar.

“The Israeli government began construction on the fence in 2010, in an effort to stop Africans from entering the country illegally,” Mr Gibson wrote.

“Considering that the U.S. government gave Israel $3.4 billion in 2011, alone and a total of $123 billion between 1949 and 2011, it is safe to say that we paid for their fence. See the history of U.S. aid to Israel…”

“Of course, Israel is not the only beneficiary of American taxpayers’ generosity… In 2008, the Bush administration announced that the U.S. would assist Egypt in constructing a high-security fence along the Gaza-Egypt border in order to stop weapons smuggling from the Palestinian territory. Those weapons are often used against southern Israel.

“A cable dated Dec. 20, 2009, sent from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo to the Secretary of State in Washington D.C. revealed that while the Gaza fence was being constructed with Egyptian money, a tunnel detection system was built and funded by the United States.

“The cable, made public by Wikileaks, also detailed how the U.S. provided support for the installation of the tunnel detection system, which was to be completed by the US Army Corps of Engineers by April 2010. The American taxpayers reportedly sent $23 million to Egypt for the project.”

Mr Gibson then compared the free money being given out to protect Israel’s borders, with that spent on America’s own border fence with Mexico.

“On September 13, 2006, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) introduced the Secure Fence Act into the U.S. House of Representatives. The next day, the House passed the bill by a voted of 283-138. Two weeks later, the measure passed in the Senate by a vote of 80-19. The Secure Fence Act of 2006 was signed into law by President George W. Bush on October 26, 2006.

“While the Secure Fence Act was supposed to see to it that 700 miles of double-layered, barbed wire fence was built along the U.S./Mexican border, along with more vehicle barriers and manned checkpoints, only about 30 miles of the double-layered, 14-foot high fencing has actually been built.

“According to the Department of Homeland Security, only 34.3 miles of double-layered fencing has been completed along the border. Most of that, (13.5 miles), is in Texas, with 11.8 miles in California and a mere 9.1 miles of double-layer fencing now sits along the border in Arizona.

“Since Obama became president, all construction on the fence specified in the legislation (similar to the Israeli fence built on the Gaza strip) has stopped. In fact, in early 2009, the Government Accountability Office reported that only 32 miles of double-layered fencing had been constructed.

“As former Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) pointed out in a May 2010 Human Events op-ed: “That means under President Obama, only 2.3 miles of it has been built over an entire year.”
